The website is quite suitable to teach vocabulary and build learners’ phonological awareness. In beginners’ level contents, vocabularies are sorted by initial/medial vowels, and initial/ medial consonants. Also each slide show has picture and spells with highlighting a letter to focus. It draws on learners’ attention to a specific sound highlighted in a word.
Although spelling is not taught in Japanese preschool English course, having learners’ attention on what sounds each vowel and consonant makes is important. It is because building phonological awareness is beneficial for spelling and reading skills. Teaching what sounds each letter has would be helpful learners’ feature learning.

Most of games in this site require the skills of reading and spelling that are not target skills in Japanese elementary school English course. However, some games, especially memory game, don’t require spelling nor reading skills. Thus they are useful for to review the vocabularies with fun.
